A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014)

Speechless. Breathtaking. Funny. Burn, need ice, please. Help. Jaw left dropping. So great can't wait to mandate my friends to see it. Energizing. Feel-good. Postmodernist (properly, not the faux kind). Postfeminist. Shatters all stereotypes. Necessary. More relevant than ever. Eye-opening. Resuscitating. Antidepressant. I was floored. These were just the thoughts and feelings that dominated me while and after I was in the cinema tonight getting the privilege of finally seeing this film after its poster has been nagging me for months. After tons of inquires on when this film would finally come out, I can honestly tell you, how worth it the wait was. Please watch it. Watch the video below to get a taste of the film's dynamism.

This film is cool. Seriously. How many times can you say that about a film? How often can a film be categorized like that? (Besides with Ferris). Film students and pundits, take note, actually society in general, this is what you call postmodernism! Justice was done people. I'm still literally shaking from excitement from the thought of some scenes and at the idea that tomorrow I'd brag and force feed how great this film is to people.
